Volunter With BYFL
Would you like to volunteer with BYFL? We appreciate your time and can always use additional help!
In compliance with state laws and regulations all volunteers MUST obtain their standard PA Child Abuse Clearances, and complete a PA Criminal Background Check. Cost for both is free for volunteers. Please follow instructions below.
Instructions to become a Volunteer with BYFL:
Obtain PA Clearances through the following links:
- PA Criminal Record Check: epatch.pa.gov (free for volunteer purposes)
- Pa Child Abuse Clearance: www.compass.state.pa.us/cwis/public/home (free for volunteers – must create an account)
Submit the following (by email, physical mail, or hand directly to a board member):
- Certificates from step 1
- Letter of intent
- Volunteer section of student registration form
